Alberta R. (Harris) Bischer

On December 11, 2017 Alberta R. Bischer (nee Harris) beloved wife of the late John W. Bischer Sr.; devoted mother of Arla Adams, John W. Bischer, Jr. and his wife Mary Carol, Linda S. Bass and her husband Ray, Michelle Kostelich and her husband Brad; dear sister of Harold and John Harris and Vicki Wagner. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Saturday at 10:00 am. Visiting hours are Friday 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital, 512 W. Saratoga Street, Baltimore MD 21201 and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2121 Roosevelt Avenue, York PA 17408.
