During this time of grief, may the family receive comfort from the “God of comfort and tender mercies.”(2Corinthians 1:3,4) Soon we can look forward to Revelation 21:3,4 being fulfilled.:”Death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Charles was my fathers older brother and my Uncle. He was a very good brother to my father and a great uncle to me. He will very much be missed by all of his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. It should be noted that he is a veteran of WWII, and an everlasting memorial brick in his name has been placed in section W7 of the Pittsylvania County War Memorial Park in Danville, Virginia. He will always be loved and missed. Now he will have a chance to spend time in the heavens some of his favorite "old school" NASCAR drivers at the big speedway in the sky. Take care Uncle Chuck and knowing that you will be back with your parents, brothers, and sisters is comforting. God Bless you.
