On March 21, 2017 James F. Chavis Jr. Beloved husband of Imogene Chavis, also survived by 4 daughters, 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave on Friday at 7:30pm. Visiting hours will be Friday 3-5pm and 7-9pm.
