Joel "Joey" M. Decker

On May 8, 2017 Joel "Joey" M. Decker, a proud veteran and lifelong tugboat captian, passed away ; devoted husband of Donna Decker (nee Dunne) ; beloved father of Sharon Herndon and her husband William ; loving grandfather of Bradley and Taylor ; dear brother of George Decker, the late Russell Decker Jr, Carlton Decker and Joan Post ; also survived by several nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave., on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 at 11 am. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 2017 from 10-11 am. Entombment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to the : Baltimore Humane Society, 1601 Nicodemus Rd., Reisterstown, MD 21136.
