On November 5, 2017 Larry D. Smith beloved husband of Donna L. Smith (nee Tevis); devoted father of Cindy Burkhardt and her husband Larry, Jeff Smith and his wife Jill Johnson and stepdaughter Lori Brennan and her wife Kelly; dear grandfather of Alex Burkhardt, Parker Smith, Cole, Meredith and Valerie Burkhardt; dear brother of Linda Gray and her husband Ron, Judy Eberwein and her husband Bob and Jim Smith and his wife Robin. Also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Family and friends may call at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Thursday from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Further visiting will be held Friday at the Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1901 Middleborough Road, Essex MD 21221 from 10 to 11 am. Service will begin at 11 am.
