I often think of old friends and Marce was one of my oldest best friends. We met on a winters day on a skating pond in 5th grade, we last saw each other when Marce came out to hunt deer on our farm a few years ago. I had no idea he became so sick and only wish I would have kept more in contact. As I age I realize my time will come too when I am called home. I will be looking for him then and it will not be hard to spot ole Marce as his light will be shining bright . God Bless.

Uncle, it took me until my early adult years to realize and understand your stern demeanor. You were there at family cookouts, you were there for back river baseball (and won a championship together), you were there for rec football. I had the honor to learn a few fishing tips when we fished the stream together, and of course we watched countless Ravens battles together. But most importantly for me, you have been there for every holiday that we celebrated together as a family for as far back as my memory allows me to remember. . The family structure and lessons I observed during these family functions were invaluable and helped me envision how I would one day like to structure my family and I am forever grateful.
