Roxanne "Roxi" Marie Bentley

Roxanne "Roxi" Marie Bentley, 52 passed away peacefully at her home in Conowingo, Maryland on May 8, 2017. Roxi was born on September 18, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Elmer and Alice Bentley. Roxi was predeased by her loving brother, Edgar "Eddie" Bentley and her honorary mother, Yarlene Mullins.

Roxi is survived by her brother, Pete Bentley and family, her sister Sharon Bentley-Triplett and family, several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition Roxi was a devoted honorary sister to Terri Mullins and Amy Barry. She was also loved and cherished as a family member by both the Mullins and Barry households.

Roxi retired from the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Admitting Office in 2015. She loved children and always put the needs of others before herself. She loved to cook and enjoyed camping with friends and family. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time in the mountains. Roxi loved her family and friends and always put them first. She will be dearly missed.

A funeral service will be held at the New Harvest COGOP, 201 Connelly Road in Rising Sun on Thursday at 11 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Additional visiting hours on Thursday 10-11 am prior to the service. Entombment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
