I extend my deepest sympathy to Charles and family on the passing of dear Shirley. She was a special person to my sister and me and we will deeply miss her. We loved her like a second grandmother and we loved hearing her, "to make a long story short" stories. She and her dog, Peanut, did a great job of looking after everyone in our neighborhood. And I have fond memories of celebrating B-days and taking a trip w/my parents to DE.. And, although I can't attend the funeral service, since I have moved out of state, Charles and family have been in my thoughts and prayers this week. I feel blessed to have had Shirley in my life and now she can rest in peace with her beloved husband . God bless you all.

My condolences to your whole family. Shirley was such a wonderful neighbor. My sister and I have a lot of fond memories of her and Peanut. Everyone at Harrison Court loved seeing her smiling face. She was one strong, independent lady that even in the biggest snow storm, would be out there with us neighbors, digging her car out. (ha ha ha.) She will be missed.
