On September 30, 2017 Shirley Jean Maddox (nee Carr) beloved wife of Michael J. "Mike" Maddox; devoted mother of Robert J. Maddox and his companion Anita and Dawn Bouder and her husband Robert.

A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday at 11 am. Visiting hours on Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
