Mr Tom, I just wanted to let you know how sorry I am, that I wasn't able to take care of him better so that he would have been here longer. 44 is just way too young to go. I only take comfort in the fact that he's no longer in pain. I loved him with all of my heart. He was and always will be the greatest love of my life! I love you just like you were my dad and will be here for you forever. I hope that you will continue to be in my life forever.

Love always,
Katt

Valerie thank you for the kind words and lighting a candle for Tom. I would have responded to you sooner but I didn't know that any of this was done. Thank you again!

My deepest condolences are with you in your time of grief. May you continue to find comfort in the memories that you all shared together and get comfort from knowing one day Sickness will be no more and Death will be a thing of the past.
In times of grief such as these, I find it comforting to meditate on the words found in God's word the Bible at Job 14:14, 15. Job expressed his faith that God would bring him back to life if he should fall asleep in death:
"All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait, until my relief comes. You will call, and I myself shall answer you."
The scriptures indicate that it is possible to reunite with your loved one in the near future, right here on earth under peaceful, righteous conditions. Psalms 37:10, 11 offers us this promise.
My sincere condolences to your entire family.

Thank you for the kind words. I didn't know that this was something that could be done (posting condolences and candles, & responses to them). But thank you again!
