Tony Oxenrider of Conyers, passed away July 1, 2017, at 50 years of age. Tony attended Newton Baptist Church and was employed by Atlanta Insulation in Lithonia for 20 years, and worked for Phoenix Metals in Norcross for a short time. A fun-loving person and proud grandfather, he enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. Survivors include his son, Shawn Oxenrider of Gainesville; grandson, Bransten Lewis; mother and step-father, Brenda and Donald Waggoner of Covington; father, Terry Oxenrider of Baltimore, MD; twin-brother, Tim Oxenrider and wife, Debbie, of Covington; brother, Chad Oxenrider of Baltimore, MD; maternal grandmother, Kathleen Lambert; aunts, Pamela Holloway, Donna Ward, Patricia Belcher; uncles, Darrell Lambert, Rodney Oxenrider, Ricky Oxenrider; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services and interment will be held at Holly Hill Memorial, Middle River, MD on Monday, June 10th, 2017 at 1 pm. Visiting hours will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave., on Sunday, June 9th, 2017 from 6-9 pm.
