Tony Fragkos journey began on June 5th, 1959 in Greece. He began travelling the world as a Navy Man with the Greek Navy. After he explored all there was to be seen, he settled down in the United States. He married the love of his life on January 24th, 1987. But, the best days didn't come until February 8th, 1994, and July 4th, 1998; the births of his beautiful daughters who are now learning to deal with their Father being their Guardian Angel. Tony is also survived by his Sheltie named Mason. Tony is now is heaven with his beloved furbabies, Sebastian and Galax, his mother, father, sister and mother in law. He is being loved and fed. At least we hope he's being fed considering how much he loved food! Often referred to as "Tony the Painter", Tony was a provider, lover, father, husband and most of all a fighter. Tony fought hard during his life and didn't go down without a fight. As a survivor of seven heart attacks, Tony's death of a rare form of Pneumonia clearly wasn't how we imagined this fighter exiting this earth. But, during this hard time, we need to not focus on his exiting of earth but the entering of his Spirit to Heaven. It is just his physical "earth" body that has left us. His spirit will remain forever. We must remember that we need to live in the dash, no matter how long or short it may be.
A memorial service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at 4 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 11-1, 3-5 pm. Interment private.
