Dear Family of Miss Betty, I am so sorry to hear of her passing. When I came back to the church a few years ago, after not attending for quite some time, Miss Betty saw how nervous I was, and immediately came over to my pew before Mass and introduced herself. She held my hand and told me everything was going to be alright. And indeed it was. Every Sunday when she was there in the second to last pew, she always welcomed me with a smile, a gentle hug and some kind words. It may not sound like much to some, but to me it meant the world. I was in need of her kindness and always walked away feeling that all was going to be alright. She was one of the kindest people I've ever meant, and I will never forget her kindness to me. May she rest peacefully in the arms of Our Lord.

To Karen and family:
I am saddened to hear of your mom's passing. Though it's been many, many years, I and my family were very fond of her. My mom before she died used to visit nursing homes wirh her. Your mom took a special interest in Joan's daughter Jessica when she was little. Of course before all of that, we knew your parents from Dr Platts office.
You and your parents were always kind and friendly. THANKS
Unfortunately, your mom did not check our schedule when she left us. My brother, Eugene, and his wife told me but they were on the way to OC. Jaqueline and her hubby were on their way to see friends out of the area. Phil and I are in tne car after taking my son's partner and daughter back to NY after they watched our house while we went to visit our oldest son and family in Washington state. .
I would love to have paid my respects in person and met you family. I'll keep your mom in my prayers. Give everyone a big hug from the Orth family for us. Mary Louise
