On November 9, 2019 Dale Eugene Shaffer, Sr. beloved husband of Bessie Arlene Shaffer (nee Cornelius) devoted father of Dale Eugene Shaffer, Jr. and Veronica Lynn Shaffer; loving grandfather of Cassandra Wenger and McKinley Johnson.

A funeral service will be at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex on Friday at 11:00 am. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm.

Interment Gardens Of Faith Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project Foundation.
