On June 15, 2018 Elizabeth Anna Allender (nee Simmons) loving wife of Harry Carroll Allender, Sr.; devoted mother of Elizabeth A. Davidson and her husband Anthony, Dora L. Wilson and her husband Chris and Harry "Chuck" Allender, Jr., and his wife Kathleen; cherished "MomMom" of Gary, Angela, Tony, Michael, Cindy, Cassidy, Taylor and Kelly; beloved Great "MomMom" of Khyra, Elianna and Aleeya; dear sister of Patricia. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends

A memorial service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 8:00 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 3-5, 7-9 pm. Interment private
