George Vernon Fowble

On November 21, 2017 George “Vernon” Fowble, beloved husband of Shirley G. Fowble (nee Seifert), and the late Barbara Fowble; devoted father of Marsha Resch and her dear friend Craig, Douglas Fowble and his wife Esther, Cheryl Watkins and her husband Dean, Jan Pursel and her husband Todd; dear stepfather of Dana Kuzma and her husband Chad, Edward Troy Seifert and his wife Hiromi, Audrey Seifert and Tracy; dear grandfather of Cheryl Metallo and her husband Derek, David Chapman Jr, Brandon Ruble and his wife Brooke, Ridge Watkins and Kristin Pursel; dear step-grandfather of Alex and Bryan Seifert, Jordan, Dustin and Kallie Kuzma, Ethan and Colin Seifert; dear great-grandfather of Samantha and MacKenzie White and Derek Metallo Jr, Rylee and Olivia Ruble; dear brother of the late Marguerite Schorr and loving foster father of the late Ann Thorne; also survived by many loving family members and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave., on Monday at 11am. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 3-5, 7-9pm. Interment at Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in “Vernon Fowble’s” name to his church , Back River United Methodist, 544-B Back River Neck Rd., Essex, MD 21221
