On June 27, 2019 James Gilbert Buchanan, Sr.,devoted husband of Joan Buchanan (nee Foehrkolb); beloved and treasured father of daughter, Donna Louise Buchanan Smith , and son, James Gilbert Buchanan Jr.. he was predeceased by 2 sisters and a brother; cherished grandfather of Barbara Joan Cyr and Emily Rose Buchanan. Also survived by extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday July 3rd at 12 noon. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday July 2nd from 3-5 and 7-9 pm.
Interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery
