On July 3, 2018 Joseph P. Neary, Sr. beloved husband of the late Mary R. Neary (nee Going); devoted father of Joseph P. Neary, Jr. and Rebecca A. Neary; dear brother of Darlene Beck and the late Patsy Reid and Edward Neary; loving grandfather of Milika O. Robbins and Christopher S. Walker. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Catholic prayer service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Monday at 11 am. Visiting hours on Sunday 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
