Josephine "Josie" Theresa (Welty) Elste

On Friday, January 10, 2020 Josephine "Josie" Theresa Elste (nee Welty), lifelong Essex, Maryland resident, was called home to Jesus, at the age of 76.

Born April 16, 1943, to mother Sara Theresa Welty (nee Deetz), and father George Russell Welty, with whom Josie will joyfully reunite in Heaven.

Also preceded in death by sister Gail Louise Guthrie, and nephew Corey Kristopher Guthrie.

Survived by brother, Russell Welty and his wife Janet; nieces, Denise Leuschel and her family; Sandra Farkas and her husband Tom along with their family; and nephew Guy Guthrie and his wife Kathi, along with their family. Also fondly remembered by neighbor Sheila Bair and her family; and her beloved Goddaughter, Skylar McLamb.

Graveside services and interment will be held at the Gardens of Faith Cemetery on Thursday, January 16th, 2020 at 3 pm.
