On November 1, 2018 Joyce Ann Girvin (nee McAlister) devoted wife of Howard "Tersh" W. Girvin III; beloved mother of Kimberly Matus, Howard W. Girvin IV, Mark J. Girvin and the late Michael "Mikey" D. Tiffner; loving "Grand-Mom" of Nathan, Amelia, Collin, Gabriel and Caleb. Also survived by many loving family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
