On October 1, 2017 Robert L. Bowings, Sr.; devoted father of Robert L. Bowings, Jr., Kimberly L. Bowings and Troy M. Bowings and his wife Yvonne; dear brother of Richard Bowings and Donna Kiser; loving grandfather of Connor R. and Troy M. Bowings, Jr., Raquel Flynn and Charles W., Chance L. and Robert Bowings, III. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Visiting hours on Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Entombment Garrison Forest Maryland Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday, October 11th at 11:30 am. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home one hour prior.
