On July 10, 2019 Robert "Bob" Ellwood Hager devoted husband of the late Gloria Hager and the late Rosemary McCubbin Hager; beloved father of Roberta E. Gable and her husband Thomas C. Gable, Jr.; loving "Pap" of Nicholas Wilson and his wife Danielle; dear brother of Donald Hager, Dennis Hager, Kenny Hager, Marlyn Holdamph, June Kroll and the late Melvin Hager. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Monday at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Interment at Oaklawn.
