Anna May Betkey

Anna May Betkey (nee Eikenberg), age 93, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024. She was born on June 25, 1931 to the late Joseph Eikenberg and the late Rose Eikenberg (nee Sulin). Anna May is the beloved wife of the late Vernon Betkey, Sr.; devoted mother of Robert Betkey and his wife Robin, Vernon Betkey, Jr. and his wife Deborah, Roseann Wagner and her husband David, and the late Bryan Betkey and his surviving wife Tammie; loving grandmother of Danielle Betkey, Jessica Linzey, Jeremy Betkey, Jennifer Betkey, Sarah Savage, Kyle Waters, Logan Betkey, and Emily Meyer; great grandmother of Cooper Savage, Violet Savage, Josie Meyer, Jude Betkey, Harrison Betkey, and Dean Roberson; also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Anna May is preceded in death by her siblings Joseph Eikenberg, John Eikenberg, Leo Eikenberg, Rose Moenius, and Marie Curran.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, September 14th at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave, Essex MD 21221 from 10am – 11am with a funeral service beginning at 11am. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
