Arlene Mae (Davenport) Waybright

On January 20, 2023 Arlene Mae Waybright (nee Davenport) passed away. Arlene was a loving and devoted wife to the late Delbert R. Waybright Sr. for over 63 years. Arlene was a beloved mother of Delbert R. Waybright Jr., and Joseph L. Waybright and his wife Judy A. Waybright who cherished her selfless , kind and caring ways. Loving grandmother to Joseph L. Waybright Jr. and Christopher Waybright, who enjoyed many special memories.  Her great-grandchildren, Sofie Bennett-Waybright and Allyson Waybright were blessed to spend special time with love and laughter. Arlene was also a loving Aunt to JoAnn Armiger, Gilbert Leisher, along with many more nieces and nephews.

Arlene worked at JC Penney for 25 years. Her focus was her family. She doted on her boys and spoiled her grand and great-grandchildren always. Arlene grew up in Baltimore where she met the love of her life. She was a one-of-a-kind lady and her heart was larger than life. Arlene was preceded in death by Delbert R. Waybright, Sr. (husband), Shirley Leisher (sister), Joseph Davenport  (brother), Dorothy Wisniewski (sister), Joseph Davenport (father), Anna Wisniewski (mother), Leonard Wisniewski (step-father).

A funeral service will be held at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8212 Philadelphia Rd. (Rosedale) on Monday, January 30th, 2023 at 11 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Sunday, January 29th, 2023 from 3 - 7 pm.

Interment at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
