Betty Marie Laffin

Our loving mother, Betty Marie Laffin of Middle River, Maryland and previously of Keyser, West Virginia in her childhood years, died suddenly from a stroke and has departed to join her husband Hank Laffin, sisters Joan Peters, Jean Cantrell, and brothers Denny, Johnny, Tommy and Billy McCloud. She is survived by people she cared for deeply including her sons Bryan and Mark Laffin, grandchildren Emily Laffin and great grandkids Adeline and Noah,  and her sisters June Long, and Barbara Holly. She had many nieces and nephews and other family members who loved her, and she loved them. 

Betty spent her career working at Ft. Meade. She enjoyed trips to the beach and camping with her family in earlier years, taking trips back home to visit her family each year, and researching genealogy in her later years. She may have passed suddenly but she made the most of every day. 

Visitation will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex on

Wednesday, October 2nd from 10 am - 12 pm

with the service starting at 12 pm.
