Betty Murphy

Betty Murphy, age 81, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025. She was born in Maryland on November 3, 1943 to the late Harold and Virginia Stitt. Betty is the beloved wife of the late James Murphy; cherished mother of Joyce Shamanski and Fred Sevick; caring grandmother of Jessica Wheeler, Richard Wheeler, Sam Shamanski, Jr., April LaRue, and Cherie Wheeler; great grandmother of Meadow Greever, Ethan Greever, Paisley Rye, and Connor Rye; sister of Shirley Moylan, Pamela Marange, the late Bud Stitt, and the late Jerold Stitt, Sr.; also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
