Billie Jack Combs

Billie Jack Combs, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Born June 22, 1939. He was the son of the late Lindon and Mary Baugh Combs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Mary Louise Morcom Combs; sisters: JoAnn Combs and Katherine Overcash; brothers: Elder George Ben Combs and Robert Franklin Combs.

He is survived by his wife: Lois Combs; daughter: Donna Schmidt and husband Ken of Baltimore, MD; son: Mark Combs and wife Debbie of Severna Park, MD; grandchildren: Michael Combs and wife Mandy, Michelle Smith and husband Ken and Jack Combs and wife Brittany; great-grandson: Kenny Smith; sisters: Betty Jean Settle and husband Clyde of Lebanon, VA, Norma Elkins of Little River, SC, Naoma Bender and husband Gilbert of Baltimore, MD, Voneva Brady and husband Jim of Baltimore, MD,  Sue McGuire and husband Kelly of Cleveland, VA, and Sandra Robinson and husband Larry of Lebanon, VA; brothers: Dwaine Combs and wife Joannie of Cleveland, VA and L.C. Combs and wife Pauline of Meadowview, VA.

A funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Larry Robinson and Rev. James Sims officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. A visitation will also be held at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue, Baltimore, MD. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex and burial will follow the service conducted in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, 7401 German Hill Road, Dundalk, MD 21222.
