Billy Benton Rawls, Sr.

On February 26, 2025 Billy Benton Rawls, Sr. passed away; devoted husband of the late Joann Rawls (nee Taylor); beloved father of Joann Rawls and Manuel Crew, Billy Rawls Jr, Mary Komber and her husband James, Terry Rawls, Chad Rawls, John Rawls, Karen Rawls and the late Thomas Rawls; loving "Pop" of Terry Jr, Justin, Heather and the late Brandon; cherished "Great-Pop" of Jordan, Raelynn, Sawyer and Rowen; dear brother of Pat Rawls. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 at 1 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 from 10 am - 1 pm.

Interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
