On September 2, 2019 Carolyn Frances Stringfellow (nee Davis) devoted wife of the late Charlie W. Stringfellow; beloved mother of Charles Stringfellow, Jewel Zarbos and her husband Louis, Darlene Sutton and her late husband Nelson, and Cheryl Craig and her husband Michael Craig, Sr. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchilden and loving "Pet Grandmother" of "Bubba".

A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Friday at 1 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 11 am to 1 pm. Interment at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
