Clara Faye (Williams) Hamby

On April 23, 2021 Clara Faye Hamby (nee Williams) passed away; devoted wife of the late Reverend Norman Luther Hamby; beloved mother of Rebecca F. Metzgar and her husband Delegate Ric Metzgar, Sr. and the late Jimmy Hamby and his wife Sandra; cherished grandmother of Troy Hamby and his wife Paige, Melody McKee and her husband Trent, Richard Metzgar, Jr. and his wife Sarah, Ryan Metzgar and his wife Jamie; cherished great-grandmother of David, Joseph, Luke, Johnny, Carter, Jackson, Grant, Cameron, Andrew, Philip, Mia, Maddie and Lennyn; loving daughter of the late Robert Williams and the late Annie Williams (nee Fleming); dear sister of 11 deceased brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Clara loved her church and family, she also enjoyed telling Bible stories and was very patriotic.

A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday April 28th, 2021 at 4 pm. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 28th, 2021 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
