Constance Jean (McNamara) Hansel

On May 19, 2026, Constance Jean Hansel (nee McNamara) passed away. Born on December 23, 1948 to the late Paul and late Ann McNamara, she was the beloved wife of the late John Hansel; devoted mother of Kimberly Miller (Bryan) and Robin Carper (Brian); stepmother of Vicki Bachmeier and Eric Hansel; loving “Mom-Mom” of Ryan Bates, Aubrey and Delaney Carper; dear aunt of Paul (Tyania) and Mark (Renae) Klingelhofer and their children; and cherished sister of Joyce Klingelhofer and her husband Bill. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 11am. Friends and family are welcome beginning at 10:00 am. Interment immediately following at Lake View Memorial Park located at 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784.

She found joy in traveling around the world, attending shows and musicals, going to Walt Disney World, and creating magical memories with her friends, family, and grandchildren.
