Curtis Allen Ratley

Curtis Allen Ratley, born February 16, 1983, passed on peacefully on April 19, 2025, a beloved father to his son Tyler and cherished stepfather to Katelyn, Zachary, Darren, and Kenneth. He is survived by son Tyler Ratley and his sisters, Christina Ratley and Jennifer Shore.

Curt was a dedicated CDL truck driver and an inspiring CDL instructor at Allstate. He found great joy in spending time with his kids, coaching youth sports and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid fan of all sports and a diehard Ravens and Orioles fan.

Despite facing a long illness, including diabetes, kidney failure, and a stroke, Curt remained resilient and surrounded by love. 

Curt would want everyone to remember him healthy, standing tall, laughing and wishes to remain in the hearts of those who truly loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave., Essex, MD 21221 on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 2 PM to 4 PM.
