Diane Amato-Doerfler

On May 1, 2025 Diane Amato-Doerfler passed away; devoted wife of the late Richard Doerfler; beloved daughter of the late Michael Amato and the late Mary Restauro; loving sister of Anthony Amato and his wife Sharon; dear aunt of Jennifer Amato, Alison Amato, and Michael Amato; cherished great-aunt of Everett, Ainsley, Margot and Hugo.

Diane began her career at "Kiddie Academy" as a educator and eventually worked her way to become the Vice President of Operations. Later she started her own travel agency, "Travel and Beyond", in Essex, MD, planning destinations, weddings and adventures for many.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at 3 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 from 2 - 4 pm.
