Donald H. Lacher

Donald H. Lacher, of Selbyville, Delaware, passed away on 12/20/2024, at the age of 85.

Don, was raised in South Baltimore, Maryland and was the son of the late Ira and Anna Lacher. Don, graduated from Southern High School in 1957, and was drafted by the Detroit Tigers. He was then drafted in the Army and was honorably discharged on September 30, 1965. He then played fast pitch softball and was inducted into The Softball Hall of Fame. Don, was a fantastic athlete and loved all sports. Of course his favorite teams were The Orioles and The Ravens.

Don, enjoyed spending time at his Ocean City beach house with family and friends. After retiring from Lyon Conklin Heating and Air Conditioning, in 1996, he and his significant other, Donna Cannon, retired to their permanent residence in Selbyville, Delaware.

Donald, is survived by his daughter Kimberlee R. Dominiak, son-in-law, John F. Dominiak III, 2 grandsons, Lee E. Rock and Jack D. Rock, and cousin Wayne Paul.

Visitation will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex from 2pm-4pm.

A memorial service will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex on

Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 3pm.
