Donna Rae (nee Weisberg) Oettel

On April 9th, 2025, Donna Rae Oettel (nee Weisberg) passed away. Born on June 28th, 1949 to the late Genevieve (nee DiStefanl) and the late Maurice Weisberg, Sr., she was the loving wife of William Oettel; devoted mother of Deanna Oettel, William Oettel, Jr., and his fiancee, Sheri Granger; cherished grandmother of Jennifer Oettel and her fiance, Michael McBurney, II; caring great grandmother of Brianna Oettel, Isabel McBurney; and dear sister of Roz Thomas, Charles Weisberg and his wife, Carolyn, Maurice Weisberg, Jr., and his wife, Susan. Donna is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A public visitation will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave. on Tuesday, April 15th from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th at 11 AM, with interment immediately following at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens.
