Dorothy Elizabeth Vaughn-Causey

Dorothy Elizabeth Vaughn-Causey, age 73, passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2024. She was born on June 10, 1950 to the late Albert and Gladys Vaughn. Dorothy graduated from College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 2005. She enjoyed volunteering for many years for the Baltimore Blast indoor soccer team. While she wasn’t spending time with the Baltimore Blast she could be found rooting for the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles. She also loved taking tropical vacations to islands such as St. Thomas and Bermuda. Dorothy loved her cats deeply, especially Tiger and Razz who have gone on before her.

Dorothy is the beloved wife of the late Michael Causey; cherished aunt of Cathy Oxley, Thomas Robertson, Dawn Fischer, Ricky Vaughn, and Karen Brooks; dear sister of Albert Vaughn and the late Sandra Kleman; also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue, Baltimore MD 21221 on Thursday from 5-7pm. A funeral service will take place Friday at 1pm followed by burial at Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Dorothy’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
