Dorothy "Dot" Irene (Hagerty) Krausz

On May 2, 2020 Dorothy "Dot" Irene Krausz (nee Hagerty) of Baltimore, Maryland passed away at Stella Maris.

Born July 25th, 1935 in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of William Patrick Hagerty and Margaret Irene (nee Ritterbusch) Hagerty. Her loving husband William Adam Krausz preceded her death on December 11, 2012.

Dorothy, known to her family and friends as "Dot", worked at Social Security, Levinson and Klein and retired from Defense Investigative Services at Fort Holabird in Dundalk, MD where she received awards for her work there.

She was active in her church, both in Canton & Salem United Methodist Church.

She loved watching NASCAR and went many times the Monster Mile at Dover with her husband, brother-in-law, and niece and to the Daytona 500 in 1995. She enjoyed playing in the dirt with her flowers and vacationing in Ocean City. She had a large collection of Disney animated movies, spoons from around the world and movie character dolls. Family gatherings, especially at Christmas were another highlight of the year for her. She enjoyed dining out and traveling when she could.

Dot is survived by her son, Philip Krausz, her sister Patricia (Tish) Neumann), sister-in-law Nancy Hagerty, 15 nieces and nephews, 23 great nieces and nephews, 19 great-great nieces and nephews and many friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Patrick Hagerty and Timothy Hagerty.

Services and interment are private.
