Edna "Burnell" (Layton) Hiser

On May 19, 2020 Edna "Burnell" Hiser (nee Layton) passed away; devoted wife of the late Warren P. Hiser; beloved mother of Linda Purcell; loving Gramma of Carissa Davis and her husband Dan, and Drew Purcell; cherished great - Gramma of Skylar and Ethan Davis; dear sister of the late Brook Layton, the late Vernon Layton, the late Stanley Layton, the late Eleanor Hinkle and the late infant Frances Layton. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Burnell loved and was devoted to her family, serving her church and serving her community. She was a member of Essex United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star, and the Boumi Ladies. Burnell started her career at Martin Marietta in the mid 50's and retired from Teledyne in the mid 80's. She will be forever missed and always in our hearts.

Due the COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that the services and interment be private.
