Frankie Austin (Austin) Hammer

On April 10, 2026 Frankie Austin Hammer (nee Austin) passed away; devoted wife of the late Paul Hammer; beloved mother of Sandy Wagner and her husband Phil, Debbie Kight and her husband Bill, and the late Jeanne C. Bolling and her late husband Paul; loving grandmother of Danny Wagner, Eric Wagner, Joshua Kight, and Sarah Bright. Also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; cherished daughter of the late Mack and the late Nannie Austin; dear sister of Ruth Markland, the late Cuther Austin, the late Mildred Murdock, and the late Sylvia Plyler.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Friday, April 17th, 2026 at 12:30 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 16th, 2026 from 2 - 4, and 6 - 8 pm.
