George Millard Hyde

On October 24, 2024 George Millard Hyde, who proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1952 - 1956, passed away; born September 20, 1931 in McCaysville, Georgia; son of the late George William Hyde and Mamie Godfrey Hyde; brother of the late Shirley Hurst and Wanda Henniger; spouse of the late Janice Hyde (nee Watson) for 63 years; father of Michael George Hyde, and Pamela Walinski and her husband Thomas Walinski; grandfather of Kristin Salisbury and her husband Neil Salisbury, and Joseph Walinski and his wife Ashley Walinski; great-grandfather of Lucy and Wyatt Salisbury; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 2-4, and 7-9 pm.

Interment at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
