On Tuesday, September 7, 2021 Helen F. (Thompson) Herr (88) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband of 69 years Charles, loving daughter Jo Ann (husband Ken) Tomchik, son Michael T. Herr, Sr.
Also survived by her loving grandchildren, Kristine (husband Mike) Stottlemyer, Jaime Tomchik, Michael T. Herr Jr., and Karlie Herr. Great-grandchildren, Julia, Kayla & Dylan Stottlemyer. Sisters, Bernadine (husband Leon) Warren & Barbara Nicholson. Plus many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her loving son, Charles F. Herr, Jr., parents, Robert T. & C. Loretta Thompson, siblings, Dolores Mahoney, Geraldine Parr, Robert Thompson, Jr., T. Richard Thompson and Carole Kraft.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, on Monday, September 13th, 2021 at 9 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Sunday, September 12th, 2021 from 3 - 5, and 7 - 9 pm.
Entombment at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
