Jacob "Bob" Robert Button, Jr.

On June 7, 2026 Jacob "Bob" Robert Button Jr passed away; devoted husband of the late Dorthea "Dot" A. Button (nee Noethen); beloved father of Karen Weinmann and her husband Richard, Bruce Button and his late wife Barbara, and the late Richard Button and his wife Donna; loving son of the late Jacob Button Sr. and the late Mary E. Hill; dear brother of Mary Legg. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Friday, June 12th, 2026 at 11 am. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 11th, 2026 from 2 - 4, 6 - 8 pm.

Interment will be held at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, June 16th, 2026 at 11:30 am.
