James "Jim" Sherill Drake

On December 27, 2024 James "Jim" Sherill Drake passed away; devoted husband of the late Mary E. Drake (nee Stine); beloved father of Denise Pelfrey and her husband Barry, and Wetzel Drake; loving "Pappy" of Amanda and Kayla; cherished son of the late Durell Drake and the late Mabel Robinson; dear brother of Ronnie, the late Hugh B., the late Ray "Tobe", the late JoAnne, the late Wanda, the late Larry, and the late Nancy; loving brother-in-law of Bonnie and her husband Bob, and the late Bobby. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 3rd, 2025 from 6 - 8 pm.

Interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
