Jeanne Sears Obituary

Passed peacefully after celebrating her 90th birthday and a wonderful holiday season in the presence of her loving family and friends.

Born to John Harold and Cora Connelly in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Jeanne was a long-time resident of Baltimore, Maryland. She was married to John “Red” Sears, of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed in 2006, and was survived by her brother John “Jack” Connelly from Salem, Massachusetts who himself passed on January 10th, 2026. She is the loving mother of Timothy Sears (Beth) of Palo Alto, California, Stephen Sears (Michelle) of Baltimore, Maryland, Christine Hild (Bryan) of North East, Maryland, Patrick of Baltimore, Maryland and godmother to David Murphy of Arlington, VA. She is the proud grandmother of Keith (Amber), Brendan, Katie (fiancé Curtis), Jakob (Maddie), John (Jessica), Sarah (Brant), Olivia, Ian, TJ, Corinne, Marlowe (Rae), Grace, Eammon and Noelle, and great grandmother to Kaysen, Kennedy, Samantha, Evie, Olive, James, Noah and Mason. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins, in-laws, friends and relatives of all sorts.

A memorial luncheon will be held on Saturday, January 24th from 11am-2pm at the Mt Washington Tavern, 5700 Newbury St, Baltimore, MD. RSVP to Steve via stevesears1@gmail.com or 410-302-7547. 

She will be interred in Springfield, Massachusetts in St. Michaels Cemetery.
