Joann B. Harmon

Joann B. Harmon, age 71, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025. She was born on July 18, 1953 to the late Morgan Dean and Gertrude Dean (nee Goeb). Joann is the beloved wife of 52 years to David Harmon; devoted mother of Wesley Harmon and Neil Harmon; loving grandmother of Garret Harmon, Emma Harmon, and Landon Harmon; cherished sister of Shirley Phillips and her husband Tom and the late Beverly Scieszka and her late husband Richard; also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave, Essex MD 21221 on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will take place Thursday at 11am. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Joann’s memory to the American Heart Association.
