On January 18, 2023 John Walter Lanocha, who proudly served in the United States Air Force for over 10 years and later was employed as a foreman at Bethlehem Steel for over 35 years, passed away ; devoted husband of over 63 years to Catherine "Cathy" M. Lanocha (nee Sauer); beloved father of Donna Klinger and her husband Ernest, and Debbie Ruehl and her husband Scott; loving "Pop-Pop" of Brittany, Joshua and Caroline; cherished great "Pop-Pop" of Amelia Rose; dear brother of Frank Lanocha, Jean Goetz, the late Daniel Lanocha and the late Isabella Karwacki. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
A Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare Catholic Church, 714 Myrth Ave., on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023 at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave., on Monday, January 23rd, 2023 and Tuesday, January 24th, 2023 from 2 - 4, and 6 - 8 pm.
