John J. Petr, III

On January 21, 2026 John J. Petr III, passed away; devoted husband of the late Paulette C. Petr (nee Poling); beloved father of Melodie Beeghley, Richard Beeghley and his wife Lauri, John J. Petr IV, and Robert A. Petr; loving "Pop" of Danny, Travis, Kristina, Richie, Ryan, Shane, Destiny, Alicia, Lizzy, Robbie Lynn, and Khloe; cherished "Pop-Pop' of Olivia, Dayton, Ada, Rip, Cason, Kanan, Hazel and Serena; dear brother of Cathy. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Thursday, January 29th, 2026 at 11:30 am. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 from 2 - 4, 6 - 8 pm.

Interment at Meadowridge Memorial Park (Elkridge)
