Joseph Julius Banz, Jr.

On February 15, 2021 Joseph Julius Banz, Jr. passed away; devoted husband of Gloria Jean Banz (nee Shauck); beloved father of Robert Alan Banz and his wife Kelly, and William Joseph Banz and his wife Angela; loving grandfather of Josie Banz, Cara Banz, and Casey Banz; dear brother of Mary Pindell and her late husband John, Joanne Porter and her late husband Harry, Kathleen Hirsch and her husband C. Vernon, and the late Thomas Banz; cherished son of the late Joseph Julius Banz, Sr. and the late Mary Catherine Banz;

Mr. Banz loved boating, fishing and crabbing. His other activities included bowling, billiards and horseshoes. Everyone marvelled at his train gardens at his home, where kids loved to come and see them from school class trips. He could often be seen seen helping dad at his Middle River Supply and Hardware Store located on Eastern Blvd. Mr. Banz also was a member of the Maryland Saltwater Organization along with the Sigma Chi Fraternity
