Joseph "Joe" I. Skarda, Jr.

On January 25, 2024 Joseph "Joe" I. Skarda, Jr. passed away; devoted husband of Carol Skarda (nee Zeberlein); beloved father of Donna Wingerd, Michele Brown and her husband Rob, and Kerry Skarda; loving "Pop-Pop" of Ryan, Lauren, Clay, Joey, Lucie and Julien; cherished "Poppy" of Jackson and Jacob; loving son of the late Joseph Skarda Sr. and the late Ellen Skarda; dear brother of Evelyn Snyder, Joan Kriss and the late Katherine Green. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare Catholic Church, 714 Myrth Ave., on Thursday, February 1st, 2024 at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 from 2 - 4, 6 - 8 pm.
