Joseph "Joey" Earl Ragan, Sr.

On March 30, 2025 Joseph "Joey" Earl Ragan, Sr. passed away; devoted husband of Joy L. Ragan (nee Varner); beloved father of Joseph E. Ragan Jr, and Kelly Lynn Ragan; loving "Pop-Pop" of Tahlia, Tyler and Giovanni; cherished great "Pop-Pop" of Maelyn, Freya and Ayden; loving son of the late Joseph Tilley and the late Arlene Tilley; dear brother of Johnny Ragan, Robert Carter Sr, Charlene Workmeister, and the late Nettie McGuire. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 at 4 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 from 2 - 4 pm.

Interment private.
